August 3, 2009: Grand Prize Winners
Congratulations to writing partners Tim Dragga and Jacob Michael! They have won Cowrite’s grand prize and are now working on the rewrite of the Cowrite screenplay. We are very excited to see where they take the first draft that the Cowrite contest produced. Congrats once again to all the winners who contributed to the script and to all who participated in the contest. It was a true team effort.

Choosing the grand prize winner was as difficult as the rest of the decisions throughout the contest. We reviewed each winner’s submissions and also asked them to submit a screenplay of their own to help us decide. As a final step, we asked Tim and Jacob to submit their take on the rewrite and ultimately felt they were the right writers for the job. We are confident they will do an outstanding job with the script. We will now go about the process of working together to develop the story. Once Tim and Jacob have completed the rewrite we will try to sell the Cowrite script. Each of the weekly winners will share in any script sale and even if you didn’t win we hope you too will feel a part of any script success.
