August 15, 2009: Update
The rewrite is in motion. Tim, Jacob and I had a great discussion last week and they are currently putting together some more clarified thoughts on the rewrite and the direction they want to take the story. We discussed characters and their motivations, settings, plotlines, scenes we liked and disliked in the current draft and the tone and audience we are going for. Was a fun, productive conversation. Tim and Jacob had some great ideas and are very excited about turning this into a great script.

In other news, we’ve had some interest from a new sponsor: Sony Software. They contacted us and sent us some software to try out. Obviously, we’d love to have them on board as a Cowrite sponsor.

We were sad to hear of the passing of the talented Blake Snyder. We had actually emailed with him earlier this year about having him serve as a pro. Our condolences to his friends, family and fans.
